  1. This looks good but the summaries and reflections are undeveloped. Please be sure to follow the format I provided on the research paper 1 assignment in order to receive the full credit.

  2. Just to be clear Miss B. (besides the parts that I need to develop) the format that I have to adjust is my evaluation structure inside of my annotations (summary and reflection), or the format of the annotated bibliography itself? (Because I can see what needs to be done for the earliest, but I have hard time seeing what I need to change for the latest.)

  3. Your MLA documentations appear to be correct; just remember that the second and all subsequent lines of MLA documentation entries must be indented. As for your annotations, the strongest aspect is the assessment for each source. But your summaries are too short and unclear, especially the ones which consist of a quote? Similarly, your reflections are short and the quotes you include need to be analyzed, more examples should be included and you should identify connections between all the sources. This will help you draft your first draft. Lastly, in the beginning of your annotated bibliography, you need to include your revised thesis statement. Lastly, please contact your research advisor from LRC 103 Ning- Jacob Centrone and Michelle Espinosa

  5. Hey Buto, I searched Academic Search Complete and came across two articles that might be of some help to you.

ROSS, MARLON B. "In search of Black men's masculinities." Feminist Studies 24.3 (1998): 599. Academic Search Complete. EBSCO. Web. 26 Apr. 2011.

Adams, C.Jama. "Respect and Reputation: The Construction of Masculinity in Poor African American Men." Journal of African American Studies 11.3/4 (2007): 157-172. Academic Search Complete. EBSCO. Web. 26 Apr. 2011

Let me know what you think!

  6. Hey, I'm from the LRC 103 class and also one of your advisors. These are some good sources that you are using. But I feel that you can do more with the summaries that you are supplying the reader. Maybe expand a little more on what you are saying. I feels too short and rushed with what you are trying to say. But it is definitely coming along very well. If you need help at all, email me at jake.centrone@gmail.com. My name is Jacob.
